			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The healthy ways to lose fat are still, and probably always will be, through diet and exercise. We all want to find the magic pill we can take to make the fat simply melt off. Unfortunately, losing fat is going to take some effort.</p>
<p>There may be some supplements that will help in losing fat, but they are not the most important element in your fat loss program. You still need to develop good habits so that when you do lose the fat, it stays off. If you do not fix bad habits, the fat will just come back again and again.</p>
<p>As for the diet part, what is really meant is your way of eating. Diet has a negative connotation and implies you are going to restrict your portions and be miserable. The best way to start losing fat and keep it off is simple. Not easy, but simple. Stop eating all processed foods.</p>
<p>What does this mean? When you are looking at a menu, for example, and deciding what to order, ask yourself, where did it come from? If it came off the tree, vine or hoof in the form you are going to eat it in, you can have it. If not, you cannot. This means, for example, that bread and pasta are out, but rice is fine. Avoid added fat and sugar, such as foods that are fried and heavy sauces. Other than that, eat as much as you want. You will find it very difficult to overeat when you are only eating whole foods.</p>
<p>A note about sweeteners, it is best to switch to honey or maple syrup. You do not want to eat a lot of either, of course, but they are not processed compared to sugar. When you feel the need for sweets, start making the switch to fruit. And you need to be eating whole fresh fruit, not drinking juices. There is far more fruit in one glass of juice than you would sit down and eat at one time. These excess simple sugars will become fat stores in your body.</p>
<p>As far as drinking goes, you must make sure that you are drinking plenty of water. As you start losing the fat, and you will, you need to flush it out of your system. This is extremely important to avoid any toxic reactions.</p>
<p>Motivation to begin and maintain regular exercise can be a struggle. It is especially difficult if you are physically restricted due to your weight. Remember, it is ok to start out with a little at a time. Walking is perfect. Start out with ten minutes a day and work up to more. The important thing is to start.</p>
<p>Keeping a diary of your exercise and food intake can be a great asset to fat loss. If you are honest when you are making your notes, it will keep you honest. No one likes to look back over the day before and discover they cheated more times than they realized. Conversely, as you start losing fat, looking back over the hard work you accomplished will make you more motivated to continue.</p>

When your body&#8217;s metabolism is high, you are burning more calories. You are losing weight because your body is burning off the calories you eat rather than storing them as fat. Many people try to lose weight simply by eating less and this is a good way to lose weight if you can keep your calories down.</p>
<p>The result is people begin wanting food. This is only natural. To compensate for calories they did not eat the last two or three days, they overeat. If you have a sedentary life style and job, your metabolism needs to be raised not your food intake lowered. <p>There may be some supplements that will help in losing fat, but they are not the most important element in your fat loss program. You still need to develop good habits so that when you do lose the fat, it stays off. If you do not fix bad habits, the fat will just come back again and again.</p>
<p>How you eat is usually one bad habit that will need to be changed. This does not mean you have to diet in the sense of restricting portions. Rather, it is changing what you eat that is the key. <p>The Target Myth: You can pinpoint which areas on your body to lose fat from. Fat is stored all over your body and when you begin to lose fat, it comes from all over your body, not just where you want it to. <p>With regard to diet, it is really your way of eating you need to change. It is not about portion restrictions, which always sound like you will be miserable. To lose fat and not have it come back is relatively simple, if not easy, to put in practice. Eliminate all processed foods from your diet.</p>
<p>Processed foods means any foods that did not come from nature in that form. Just ask yourself if the food you are thinking of eating actually came off the hoof, tree or vine in that form. If it did, it is good to eat. For example, breads and pastas are processed while rice is not. Added sugars and fats should be avoided as much as possible, such as those used in frying foods and in heavy sauces. If you follow these guidelines, you do not need to count calories and units. It is much more difficult to overeat when you are eating only whole foods.</p>
<p>A note about sweeteners, it is best to switch to honey or maple syrup. You do not want to eat a lot of either, of course, but they are not processed compared to sugar. When you feel the need for sweets, start making the switch to fruit. And you need to be eating whole fresh fruit, not drinking juices.
