The best way to get in shape and lose fat is by boosting your metabolism. This is the way you body burns calories in that metabolism means the way your body breaks down what you eat and uses it for energy. When your body’s metabolism is high, you are burning more calories. You are losing weight because your body is burning off the calories you eat rather than storing them as fat. Many people try to lose weight simply by eating less and this is a good way to lose weight if you can keep your calories down.

The result is people begin wanting food. This is only natural. To compensate for calories they did not eat the last two or three days, they overeat. If you have a sedentary life style and job, your metabolism needs to be raised not your food intake lowered. But realize you have to get your body moving and you have to regularly get your body moving. You boost your metabolism by raising your heart rate. Think back to when your body was an energy-burning machine. You were in high school. You walked to the bus stop to take the bus to school, or you walked to school. You spent an hour in PE class. You walked to and from classrooms. And if you were in after school sports you were in practice two to three hours a day, not counting the games you were in.
