Reduce Cellulite With Cellulite Reducing Exercise
Posted on Apr 07, 2011 under Health and Fitness | No CommentNearly all women find themselves, at some point, fighting cellulite. Getting rid of cellulite quickly, therefore, is a top priority. So, some people resort to drastic measures, like surgery. Instead of surgery, though, you might want to simply try a good cellulite reduction exercise routine.
If you want your cellulite dimples to vanish, the best way is through exercise. You can strengthen, tone and add definition to your body easily with some simple exercises. Your results will vary, based on which exercises you decide to take advantage of. Before you do anything else, you need to gain an understanding of the difference between anaerobic and aerobic exercises.
You can’t beat aerobic exercises for burning fat. That’s a good thing, when it comes to reducing cellulite. After all, cellulite is caused by fat cells underneath the surface of your skin.
The thing about aerobics is that they’re high intensity exercises. A few examples are cycling, jogging or swimming. If you prefer, you can even go to the gym to get your aerobic training in. Many pieces of gym equipment, such as elliptical machines and stationary bikes, are designed to give you a good aerobic workout.
You can really tone up your muscles with aerobics. It can be a great way to get your thighs, hips and buttocks into shape. Even though it may sound like aerobics are perfect, it’s best to do them along with other exercises.
Anaerobic exercises are the other half of the equation. Anaerobics are, basically, weight training and strength exercises. Depending on your schedule you can do anaerobics at home or at the gym.
Leg curls and leg presses are popular anaerobic exercises. You can tone up your body by doing squats or lunges also. The best part is that you can do them anyplace and squeeze them in at any time.
You can also use a floor mat in your exercise plan. You can quickly and easily do some simple leg raises or scissor lifts, for instance. You can, therefore, squeeze them into even the busiest of days. If you want a bigger challenge, you can use ankle weights to increase difficulty, too.
Just be careful, since weight training can build a lot of muscle. If you want to tone your muscles without actually bulking up, you may want to stay clear of the weights. If you want more workout, instead of weights, just do more repetitions.
Balance is key in any cellulite reducing exercise routine. You need to include both the aerobic and the anaerobic. Once you achieve that balance, you can say good-bye to your cellulite troubles.
